This page shows some of the data provided in the auxillary G3D models pack.

You can view data files that G3D loads including MOV, MP4, WMV, DV, AVI, 3DS, OBJ, BSP, FNT, IFS, PLY2, OFF, BMP, PNG, PCX, ICO, JPG, and other formats using the viewer tool provided in the bin directory of your G3D install.

For image data, this page directly links to the images in your data directory. If the data directory is not located at ../data/ relative to this file, you will see broken links.

Scenes

Scenes are organized into a hierarchical menu in the Scene Editor Window based on their name. All G3D-provided scenes have the prefix "G3D" so that they will be grouped together. G3D scenes are further organized into:

Relatively-impressive scenes at top-level under "G3D"
"Simple" test cases that you'd show someone in a research paper, report, or assignment to demonstrate that a specific phenomenon is handled correctly.
"Debug" test cases that you would use internally when trying to test a specific feature.
Comprehensive smoke "Tests" used by G3D, or if you're replacing something big like an entire Renderer.
